Welcome to Ngunnawal Primary School

Our Mission Statement
Ngunnawal Primary School is committed to quality education in a nurturing and dynamic environment. As a community, we ensure lifelong learning for all!
The Ngunnawal community is made up of a diverse range of nationalities and backgrounds, including Indigenous. We aim to provide a safe and supportive environment, with challenging and engaging programs. Our school is student focused with an active SRC; and other programs where students learn to accept responsibility and leadership roles.
Curriculum focuses on literacy and numeracy development and caters for all learning needs, including gifted students. Learning assistance is provided by our own ‘Bright Sparks’ reading support program, with parents and community members trained as mentors. We welcome community involvement and parents in our classrooms.
Our rigorous health and physical education classes ensure all students participate and are made aware of healthy lifestyle choices. Our teams enjoy a measure of success as they participate in a wide variety of inter-school sports.
Parent Survey
At Ngunnawal Primary we are conducting a survey to develop our shared values. In recent years there has been much debate about how students acquire and develop their values. Parents, caregivers and family are the primary source of Values Education; however, support is also expected from the school. We need as many parents as possible to complete this survey. Access to a computer is available before or after school if you not have internet access at home.
The survey can be located here.
