What to Wear?


Ngunnawal Primary School uniform is preferred dress for preschool children.

School uniforms can be purchased directly through Chilada, or Lowes. Affordable basics are also available at Big W, Kmart and Best and Less. The school also provides access to a second-hand uniform shop that is managed by the Parents and Citizens Association. Ngunnawal Primary School ensures that no student is isolated or disadvantaged by not having access to school uniforms and ensure that students wear uniform to foster a sense of belonging and school pride.

School Polo Shirt

The school shirt is a gold-coloured polo shirt, available in short or long sleeves.

School Jumper and Jackets

School jumpers, jackets and vests are navy blue. The school jacket and jumper has the school logo embroidered on the left side. A plain or generic version that adheres to the school colour is acceptable.

School Pants, Shorts, Skorts and Skirts

School pants, shorts, skorts and skirts should be navy blue. All shorts and skirts must be at least mid-thigh in length. Short skirts and denim shorts are unacceptable. The summer school dress is a blue/white check dress, and the winter tunic is either a navy or dark blue/light blue check.

School Hat

In keeping with the sun safe policy, children will be required to wear a hat. Hats will be supplied to each attending preschool. Hats are colour coordinated according to their class. School hats will remain at preschool for the duration of the year.

Footwear

School shoes and neat covered runners/sneakers are considered acceptable and safe footwear.

Ugg boots, slippers, thongs, crocs, gum boots are not appropriate footwear unless advised by teachers for a special event.
